...since I have run over 6miles on a flat trail. I find it easier to run in hilly terrain, maybe because ups and downs work different muscles. On flats the repetitive movement is punishing the same ones over and over again. So today 7.2mile run was a nice surprise because I felt strong throughout, I finished fast and I loved the entire experience. Again I run later in the day... are my crack of dawn days over?
I have to remember I have a camera with my phone. There was a beautiful cream colored with black stripes snake in the middle of the trail. It did not think of moving as I approached so I coaxed it to get off the trail since there are usually quite a few biker this time of day. I have to find out what that snake was.
Another thing, there is nothing better than a run for speedy digestion. The heavy Father's Day dinner I've been working on for the past two days is history, I am happy to report.
