Right now we are vegging out in Yosemite Valley. I feel funny just sitting on my butt and watching tourists but I excuse myself because tomorrow we'll be hard at work, only 10 miles, but about 4,000 feet elevation gain.
Our trek already brought some excitement. This morning we were in a big rush so a friend who gave us a ride could make it back to work by noon. In all the commotion my camera stayed in the car so right now the only thing I have to take pictures with is my iPhone.
But my friend promises... to drive back to Yosemite to bring me the camera. I think I am going to cry.
I want to thank all of you for your wonderful support. Your words of encouragement meant a lot to me. What a wonderful bunch of people you are!

You're friend really is a true friend! I know how you feel - remembering and reliving a trip through photographs is such an important part of the journey for me, I would be devastated if I couldn't take pictures.

What a good friend to bring you camera back. My camera wasn't feeling well so I had to send it back for repair and I've been lost without it. It arrived today and I am anxious to take pictures again (I've been using an inferior waterproof camera in the meantime.).
How exciting! I am getting goosebumps reading this - I feel, in a small way, I am there with you...
