I am not a big Deepak Chopra fan but I liked this post a lot:

Death ended nothing; it opened up limitless adventures. A drop of water becomes vapor, which is invisible, yet vapor materializes into billowing clouds, and from clouds rain falls back to earth, forming river torrents and eventually merging into the sea.
Has the drop of water died along the way? No, it undergoes a new expression at each stage. Likewise, the idea that I have a fixed body locked in space and time is a mirage.
Any drop of water inside my body could have been ocean, cloud, river, or spring the day before. I remind myself of this fact when the bonds of daily life squeeze too tight.

I do enjoy the magic and poetry of this. It's hard to imagine that he thought about any of that as a child.
I did want to dig a hole to the other side of the Earth. But, otherwise, my magic as a child was quickly finishing my peanut butter and jelly sandwich to race and usually beat another kid in a sprint across the football field. Or go running for many times around the block and think that maybe Jim Fixx might think I was a good runner. Stuff like that.

Nice to be reminded of that!
I don't think I believe in reincarnation but it sure does read nice - calming! :-)
Love that last sentence. I think about how we are all made of recycled star dust. An incredibly beautiful thought.
I am impressed by your ruminations on many topics: whether spirituality like this one, or your adventures to increasing your own fitness, physically. That is why I am spreading some bloggy love your way. It is an "award," but different than most. Easy and well, your blog is inspirational in my book. Hope others see it that way too. Michele

Another interesting post to think about an unusual (for me) subject.
Really respect and enjoy reading anything Deepak!
