"Gratitude feels best, not when it gets breathed in, but when it is blown into the sails of others, that the vehicle of their journey has more power"

"Love and truth are the two primary manifestations of divinity in which we can partake, and by partaking in them we become truer manifestations of the divine."

This is not training, this is fun!

Now how could I not want to run here?
Maybe because of my unstructured approach, maybe because after a few months of not running that much I have it, whatever the reason, I am having a ball. I am actually enjoying getting up at crazy hours in the morning and going for a run or better yet hitting trails and killing my legs on hills (both up and down). A few hours after I am done running I want to do more. I mean I REALLY want to go for more. I bet some people in my house would not mind me getting some more endorphins either. I do not want to risk injury though so I am trying not to increase my weekly mileage too fast.
I hope this lasts till December.
That's all folks. At least for now.

Char, I am so sorry about those ultrarunners who got caught by the wildfire. I am praying they will pull through.

So glad you are enjoying the training! It is much more pleasant that way :)

I am envious of your joy.

Thanks Ewa. It was a dreadful thing that shouldn't have happened. The race should have been cancelled and now two women are fighting for their lives. It's so sad.

That's the best kind of marathon training plan EVER! I hope you keep having these feelings, they are going to carry you strong through CIM!!

Glad you have this feeling. You will do great. This is the right approach.

I'm only doing two runs per week for this; a mid-week run for time, and a weekend run for distance -- both on hills. As mentioned, there is nary a flat stride on this course...

Trails bring so much joy to my life.
That fire is horrible. So sad. I hope they recover.

The first photo shows a wonderful
landscape: it's a beautiful place to run and swim on the lake.

Thanks for sharing the last part of the post!
With regards to tragedies in the world which your mentioned I notice that the war in Libya, near Italy, is going to an end.
Have a nice weekend, Ewa!
