"Gratitude feels best, not when it gets breathed in, but when it is blown into the sails of others, that the vehicle of their journey has more power"
--- Friend

"Love and truth are the two primary manifestations of divinity in which we can partake, and by partaking in them we become truer manifestations of the divine."

I am to write 7 (SEVEN!) things about myself. I mean like the things you don't already know? Let me, see, which seven things can I pick so after you read them I can still maintain some decent image of myself.

1.
I grew up in a city but the best times of my life were my summer vacations in the country. For most of my childhood my parents could not afford summer camps so they would send me off to stay with our family in a god forsaken village in the middle of nowhere. Not many events shaped my world view as much as those vacations. That by itself would take quite a few posts to explain.

2.
I am a Jack of all trades, master of none. There is so much in this world I want to learn, explore, see, that I don't have enough time do them really well. Call it life ADD or kid in a candy store. I just want it all. Maybe when I really get older I'll focus on one thing. For now there are just too many adventures out there calling my name.

3.
I am an early morning person. 4am is when I like to get up. When I was a kid, I used to meet with my girlfriend to watch sunrises in the city. It was fun till our parents found out  and believe me, they were not amused. Now that I am a bit older I can again make mornings MY time and my time alone for reading, writing, thinking or running.

4.
I am always on time. I feel very uncomfortable when I run late and I expect others to respect my time also. I have a hard time understanding people who are notoriously late. To me it seems that they consider their time more valuable that that of a waiting person. Allow me not to rant more...

5.
I feel very uneasy in large groups especially when I don't know the people. I am one of those people who shy away, hide in the corner and keep checking the watch to see how much longer they have to suffer. I think I am better one on one.

6.
I have never had a personal trainer because. I often wondered though if I would not do better with my fitness quest with someone to motivate me (read: kick my a$$). Hey, I am braving yoga classes and managing not to obsess over how clumsy I am, maybe I could brave a trainer too. Somebody like BL's Jillian could be good. She would be so busy yelling that she would not have time to notice how bad my form is thus sparing me the embarrassment. Or maybe I should look somebody more gentle and thoughtful to guide me into the world of fit. Or how about a virtual trainer?
See how decisive I am? Another thing you did not know about me.

7.
The thing that moves me the most is the night sky. I love just lying on the ground and looking at those distant lights and marvel at how vast this universe is. To my small mind it is inconceivable that many of those flickers are entire galaxies and cluster of galaxies and that we and this marvel and I are made of the same particles. It is a very humbling but also empowering thought. But I would not want to get too philosophical here.

I am tagging anyone who reads this and wants to share secrets about themselves.
